Long Beach Grandmother: TSA 'Strip-Searched' Me

85-year-old woman threatens to sue after she said agency took her clothes off in a private room.

Lenore Zimmerman, an 85-year-old, walker-using Long Beach resident, claims the Transportation Security Administration strip-searched her in a private room at John F. Kennedy International Airport after she refused a body scan Tuesday, the Daily News reports.

The 110-pound grandmother, who was on her way to Fort Lauderdale from the the JetBlue terminal, feared the scanner might interfere with her defibrillator, and now she is threatening to sue the agency after two agents took her clothes off and she injured her leg in the process, according to the Huffington Post.
