Police Report: Arrests for DWI

The LBPD blotter on Long Beach-related incidents.

 


The following information was supplied by the Long Beach Police Department/Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.


Arrests

  • Lawrence Fitzpatrick, 41, of Clifton, NJ, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated at the East Beech Street on Jan. 14.
  • Jaclyn Accetta, 22, of Oyster Bay was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, no front license plate, an equipment violation and driving while using a cell phone at West Park Avenue and Laurelton Boulevard on Jan. 13.   
  • Andre Singh, 21, of Richmond Hills was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license at East Chester Street and Riverside Boulevard on Jan. 13.
  • Brian Shea, 30, of Baldwin was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving without a license and false personation at West Walnut Street on Jan. 14.
  • Scott Cali, 48, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene with property damage at West Broadway on Jan. 14.  
  • Michael Egbert, 40, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license at Pacific Boulevard and East Park Avenue on Jan. 15.
  • Michael Gonzalez, 20, of Island Park was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated at East Park Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard on Jan. 15.
  • Diego Penafiel, 21, of Massapequa was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license at East Park Avenue and Pacific Boulevard on Jan. 16.

It would be interesting and enlightening to find out what happens to all these drunk drivers and unlicensed/suspended licensed drivers. Recidivism seems to be the ultimate outcome.
