Good job by the LBPD trying to sweep up all the drunk drivers weaving thru town.
If these drunks were smart they would read Patch to learn what side streets to drive down to evade the police stakeouts.

Oh no, not again Lloyd. Why do you continually interfere with our enforcement efforts?

Are you planning to arrest me for obstructing justice?
Cant imagine what my new Long Beach friends would say if they saw my name posted here on the police blotter.

No, just asking that you display better judgement in the future

That would be like me posting a message here that "Food Giant Supermarket" on Park Ave. gets a $50,000 cash payroll delivered every other Thurs. at 4 P.M. by an unmarked blue van, carried in by two elderly unarmed men walking into the back of the store.
Then claiming that I only posted it to help out the "law enforcement efforts" of the LBPD and not any potential stickup men.

Not quite. That would be more like you posting that there are opportunities for thieves to rob stores x, y and z.

If you haven't noticed, DWI arrests are up this week. Please don't continue to attempt to thwart our efforts to rid Long Beach of this scourge once and for all.

MeAgain, are you insinuating that people who are about to drink and drive check patch first for cryptic "advice" from Lloyd as to how not to get caught? Wow.

You got that wrong. I was the one who strongly objected to the Patch poster who came on here and gave advice to drunk drivers what back streets to take to avoid getting caught by a LBPD traffic check. I dont believe he was doing this to tip off the police, because tips are NOT posted on public forums so the perpetrators can use it for themselves.
I wouldnt want to be victimized innocently driving on a side street here and getting hit by one of his well informed/tipped off drunk drivers.
My car was hit and destroyed years ago by a drunken woman and I was lucky not to get hurt. She got arrested and I sued her for damages and won.
Its not something to be taken lightly here.

Exactly - not to be taken lightly - which is why you should not let your misinterpretations compromise the possibility that drunk drivers trying to "escape from Long Beach" might get caught
