Space Shuttle Enterprise Flies Over Long Beach

Local photographers capture Friday's fly over of the NASA shuttle.

Local Long Beach photographers took their cameras to the sky during Friday morning's fly over of the NASA Space Shuttle Enterprise.

The shuttle was traveling from Dulles International Airport to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport in order to be put on display at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York City.

Attached to a specially outfitted Boeing 747 aircraft, Enterprise took an aerial tour of the tri-state area before making the historic landing.
