VIDEO: Tax Day Rally Welcomes Long Beach Tea Party
Event marks third year protesters gathered to voice their concerns about overreaching government.
Members of the Long Beach Tea Party joined with other local groups of their kind in the third annual Tax Day Rally in Massapequa on Friday.
Held at the Long Island Rail Road station on Sunrise Highway, the event drew crowds who waved American flags and hold signs addressing issues of overreaching government as motorists passed and some honked their horns in solidarity.
Nassau County Legislative Majority Leader Peter J. Schmitt (R-Massapequa.) and 12th District Assemblyman Joseph S. Saladino (R-Massapequa) were among several politicians who attended the rally.

Looks like a smaller crowd than in past years. Saladino looks sick, I hope he is not but encase he is I will pray for him. Also I hope the TEA party people wake up a realize that "Pay Raise Pete" stands against them and raised taxes. Nassau County has a higher sales tax than NYC.

There are many things to criticize about the tea party, this protest specifically and the supportive bias of the piece.
