The mail that had been sitting in the Garden City Post Office, Does anyone know if that has been taken back to the Long Beach Post Office for delivery or pick ?

All the mail that was in Garden City has been returned to Long Beach and regular mail delivery has resumed. I received mail on Saturday and today.

Mail is being delivered to 28 of the 31 postal routes in Long Beach. Others should call 228-7502 for more info. Jaime Sumersille, Regional Editor, Nassau County

11/12-As per The City of LB website, most mail is being delivered as usual. I went to Garden City P.O. a few days ago and waited...to be handed a single piece of junk mail. So, they said my mail was re-routed back to LB. I went to my apt. today to empty the mailbox, two pieces of junk mail were inside...the box hasn't been emptied since days before Sandy. Leaving, I drove past the LBPO (closed for Vet's Day) there is a sign posted on the door stating "mail can be picked up in Garden City." It must be a tough situation for them, but I'm very confused...mail must be in limbo!!!

Jessica: you've confirmed my fear that mail is in the limbo. I don't know how to track all of it. All: thank you for an update and your experiences.
