LONG BEACH RESTAURANTS SUPPORT LONG BEACH CATHOLIC REGIONAL SCHOOL FUNDRASING EFFORTS.
Long Beach Catholic Regional School will be hosting an exclusive one concert to benefit the schools fine arts program. The Concert features Ireland’s number one folk and ballad group, The Wolfe Tones. This wonderful tribute to Irish folk music takes place on Sunday, March 4, 2012 in the gymnasium located at 735 West Broadway in Long Beach, New York. Doors open at 7:00 pm. The Hagen School of Irish Dance will also perform at 7:30 pm and the concert will start promptly at 8:00 pm.
Ronnie Danca, the school’s principal is very excited about the concert, “I truly believe that children's creative instincts are enhanced through exposure to the Fine Arts. We are excited to know that this fundraiser will provide additional finances for our Art and Music programs...and what better way to fundraise for our Fine Arts Programs than with a concert!
In addition to fundraising for the school, LBCRS is very pleased to partner with several of the local restaurants in town. Through the generous efforts of our local establishments, Wolfe Tones ticket holders can enjoy discounts at their restaurants on the day of the concert, simply by showing their ticket. It is a win-win situation for the restaurant owners and for those people who are supporting the school by attending the concert. This is just one more example of Long Beach at its best...school and community working together for the good of the children.

The owners at Blue Point were so excited about this partnership that in addition to offering 20% of all meals on Sunday March 4th, they will extend the discount the whole week through Sunday, March 11th .
