SNCH "Band-Aid Trailer" opens here

South Nassau Hospital has finally used some crumbs of our $150 million FEMA hospital grant to open an "urgent care center." It's at the desolate far end of the Nursing Home parking lot. It's shiny white, but a trailer is still a trailer. (The medical tents at the beach tournaments instill more confidence.) Their high-tech diagnostic equipment consists of: one X-ray machine. For those of us without Newsday-Dolanvision, there's a News12 clip. Try to catch the last second where it looks like the trailer's surrounded by chain link fences. Hopefully someone will post a better picture of the place here soon. Video clip- http://longisland.news12.com/news/south-nassau-urgent-care-center-has-grand-opening-in-long-beach-1....
