Students Visit 'Le Petit Prince' Exhibit

Students in the Long Beach High School International Baccalaureate French classes visited the Morgan Library in Manhattan. They toured the facility and viewed a special exhibit on the French novel "Le Petit Prince," which the author, Antoine de Saint-Exupery, actually wrote on Long Island when he fled France after the German Occupation. After touring the exhibit, students participated in an interactive learning experience. They were encouraged to draw, write, answer essential questions and make connections between the geo-political situation in 1943 and the novel.
