Creating Wall-To-Wall Color Across Long Beach

A photo gallery of murals taken in Long Beach.

Some are made of oil on canvas, while others were created out of spray paint. A few depict beach and surf scenes, and others feature purple and pink dogs and a hot dog. They add color to the outside of commercial buildings and the inside of a particular government post. You guessed it, we're waxing poetic about murals in Long Beach, to which we've dedicated this week's View Finder photo gallery.

Each week on this forum we aim to capture some of the many interesting and attractive areas throughout the bustling beach town, with its distinct neighborhoods and diverse population.

If you have photos of city scenes that you would like us to consider for our View Finder gallery, please email them — along with descriptive captions — to josephk@patch.com. Photos must be sent with the photographer's permission.
