The West End Neighbors Civic Association, in cooperation with the Long Beach Surfer's Association and the Walks Association, is hosting a community information meeting tonight at 7 PM ay City Hall.

Speakers will be addressing important topics residents are dealing with right now, including dealing with insurance companies on Sandy claims and on the tax implications of losses suffered.  This is particularly important since it is time to file our taxes.

Speakers include Jonathan Wilkofsky, Executive Director of the New York Public Adjusters Association and Vicent O'Brien a Certified Public Accountant and tax expert.

Please join us for this valuable informational meeting.

Is there any way to get the information from this meeting. I am currently living in Queens while trying to get money from insurance to pay for the rebuilding of my home and work in the city. There was no way fo rme to get out there for the meeting. If anyone can give me any tips on this, please do so.' Thank you.

I'm with you, Joanne. Many of us who were hardest hit cannot get to these meetings. I wish someone would take the time to bring a video recorder and upload the sessions to YouTube.
