Feb 16: LBHS Hockey Team Crowned Champs, DWI Sentencing, Police Report

1. The Long Beach Marines defeated the Connetquot-Sayville T-Birds, 4-2, to capture their first Suffolk County High School Hockey League championship Tuesday. Be sure you return later for Patch’s exciting game coverage of this team that was crowned champs their first year in the league.

2. Later today on Patch: We’ll feature a story about a Point Lookout man scheduled to be sentenced Friday after he pled guilty last summer to killing a Long Beach pedestrian while he drove drunk and fled the crime scene in October 2009.
