The Long Beach boardwalk’s dismantling and the sand restoration on the beach have brought out many spectators, coming in many forms from families to cameramen. In the meantime, runners and walkers who might otherwise pound the wooden walkway are taking to the beach and the adjacent sidewalks instead, as Long Beach continues its recovery process in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
