Police Report: Arrests for Possession of Weapon, Bench Warrant

LBPD blotter on Long Beach-related incidents.

The following information was supplied by the Long Beach Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

  • Marcell Barron, 37, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction, criminal trespassing, menacing and resisting arrest at E. Pine Street Dec. 16. 

  • Joseph M. DeFranco, 20, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with an active bench warrant at West Park Ave. Dec. 10.

They will plea bargain and be back out on the street. How about 25 years no parole

The crime of the day is that 2 of the worst sergeants the LBPD has to offer, and whom it is rumored, failed the recent lieutenant test, were promoted to LT. today as a payback from the current corrupt city administration. Both men are close allies with Tangney and will receive $10, 000 annual pay raises and as an added bonus will be paid all retro pay (from the police contract that is now in arbitration) at a Lt. pay rate.
