Price Law Group to Hold Informational Sessions Starting Jan. 17 About Property Insurance Claims for Long Island Residents Impacted by Hurricane Sandy
The Insurance Claim Advocates at Price Law Group will be hosting free informational presentations starting this week called "How to Maximize the Value of Your Property Insurance Claim" for Long Island residents who have questions or need assistance with insurance claims related to Hurricane Sandy.
The first two sessions will be held from 7 to 7:45 p.m. and from 9 to 9:45 p.m. this Thursday, Jan. 17, at Long Beach VFW Post 1384, 675 West Park Avenue, Long Beach, NY. Featured speakers include Price Law Group attorney Ani Acevedo and licensed insurance adjuster Lee Corey.
Recognizing the myriad issues facing property owners as they try to navigate the insurance claim process in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Price Law Group will provide Long Island residents with practical advice on what to watch out for and how to go about maximizing their insurance claim settlements. Topics include:
- How to reopen an insurance claim even after cashing a settlement check.
- What an insurance company’s adjuster may be missing (or choosing to overlook) in determining the value of damages.
- How to protect yourself against negligence or predatory behavior on the part of an insurance provider.
