The following information is from the Long Beach Recreation Department.
The Long Beach Recreation Department is now working in cooperation with Earth Arts and RK Gould Tae Kwon Do Institute to get a couple programs up and running.
We are offering an Earth Arts class for K – 8th graders on Tuesdays or Thursdays; K – 3rd grade meets 4:30 – 5:30pm and 4th – 8th grades meets at 5:30 – 6:30pm. The Earth Arts program will meet 8 times and the registration fee will be $64.
Tae Kwon Do meets Mondays 4:15 – 5:15pm for K – 3rd graders and Wednesday’s 4:15 – 5:15pm for 4th - 6th grade. The Tae Kwon do program will meet 8 times and registration fee is $50.
We are also starting Long Beach Recreation Wrestling at the Long Beach High School Cafeteria beginning Wednesday, January 2nd. It is open to 5 – 12 yr olds on Mondays and Wednesday’s. Yes, 5 and 6 yr olds are included!
The program will run through Wednesday, March 6th, 2013 and the registration fee is $50. All registration will take place at the Long Beach Ice Arena 7 days a week from 9-4 pm.
