Sandy-Destroyed Homes Razed in Long Beach




It’s become a familiar scene in Long Beach. While some people must raise their storm-damaged homes after Hurricane Sandy, others are opting to demolish them with the expectation — or hope — to rebuild. Workers last Friday cleared away a demolished home at Tennessee Avenue. The property is a couple of doors down from the first storm-damaged home in Long Beach that was raised to new heights mandated by FEMA after the storm.
