Scenes in the City: Chillin' in the Beach Town

Some snapshots around Long Beach in fall and winter.

Long Beach Patch's View Finder photo gallery aims to capture the many interesting and attractive scenes throughout the bustling beach town, with its distinct neighborhoods and diverse people.

Today's column features random snapshots of the city taken during the fall and winter. We take you on a trip to the snowy beaches in the West End, to a lone runner on the desolate boardwalk, to the vacant docks on the bay and other parts of the city.

If you have photos of city scenes that you would like us to consider for our View Finder gallery each Thursday, please email them — along with descriptive captions — to josephk@patch.com. Photos must be sent with the photographer's permission.
