Seaford Students Spread Holiday Cheer in Long Beach

Collected books for children in storm-ravaged city.

Students at the Seaford Harbor and Manor elementary schools spread joy this holiday season by collecting toys and books for those in need.

Both schools collected dozens of toys for the John Theissen Children’s Foundation in Wantagh, which distributes them to sick and less fortunate youngsters. Seaford Manor School Student Council members collected gently used books that were delivered to Long Beach schools devastated by Superstorm Sandy.
