Five Vacancies in Long Beach

What businesses should fill these empty storefronts?

Nine months after Hurricane Sandy several empty storefronts and commercial buildings remain in Long Beach, adding to those that already existed before the storm. Here are just five vacancies in different parts of the city:

  • 367 W. Park Ave. - The former Sunrise Center recreational facility has remained vacant for several years and was proposed to become a five-story senior residence.
  • 225 E. Park Ave. - The former site of DiSalvo’s pizzeria has been closed for a few years, according to a neighboring business owner.
