Rise and shine, Long Beach! Here are five things you should know about what’s going on in the city Friday and this weekend before starting your day:

1. Were you at the new and final Harry Potter movie at midnight this morning? (Wait, check back later and answer that query in our question of the day feature.) If not, you can catch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (PG-13 ) today at 12, 2:45, 5:30 and 8:15 p.m. at Long Beach Cinema on East Park Avenue. Other movies showing Friday are Cars 2 (G) 12:10, 2:40, 5:20, 7:45 p.m.; Zookeeper (PG) 12:15, 2:30, 5, 7:30 p.m.; and Transformers: Dark of the Moon (PG-13) 12:30, 3:45, 7:45 p.m.

2. Music-lover, listen up! The summer concert series on the beach continues Friday with the Mike Krum Band performing in the shadows of the Allegria Hotel at National Boulevard beach starting at 8 p.m., and Steve Adelson on Chapman Stick and Nydia Mata on percussion perform jazz and Latin sounds at 8 p.m. at Nick's Tuscan Grill on East Park Avenue.

3. The Artists Mothers Group has a new exhibit Art & Soul at the second-floor gallery at the Long Beach Library.

4. Remember that this Saturday and Sunday you can find everything from jellyfish art to sterling silver jewelry to cannolis at the annual Long Beach Arts & Crafts Festival on the boardwalk.

5. The Long Beach Fire Department on Saturday will hold their annual Fill the Boot Drive at 10 a.m. at Long Beach Boulevard and East Park Avenue.
