July 6: Summer Concerts Start, Billy Wilder Lecture, Karaoke Night

The middle of the week has arrived and here's what you need to know this Wednesday:

1. It's time for some tunes on the beach. The City of Long Beach's summer concert series kicks off at 8 p.m. with Alive & Kickin' performing at New York Avenue beach. Later this week, Patch will post a history of the summer concerts in Long Beach. 

2. The Long Beach Public Library will host a lecture at 7:30 p.m.

3. American Idol wannabes can exercise their vocal cords on karaoke night every Wednesday at the Inn. It's a great excuse to have some fun with your friends in the middle of the week.
