June 15: Library Playland, Photography Exhibit, Art Festival Video

Wednesday brings a mostly sunny skies with high temps in the low 80s. Here's what else Long Beachers need to know today:

1. Each Wednesday brings Library Playland at the Long Beach Public Library from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. This program is for children between 14 months and four years/two months. Children can participate in open story time.

2. The Coffee Nut Cafe displays the work local artists and photographers on a three-week rotation basis. Long Beach photographer Bob Shanley now has his photos on the walls there. Drop by for a cup of java and check out the mini-exhibit.

3. Art lovers, listen up! Make sure you return to Patch later today when we post a video on the seventeenth annual City of Long Beach Fine Arts Festival.
