Long Beach Shelter Animals of the Week: Mama & Cookie

Mama is about 18-months-old and is an incredibly sweet and happy girl. She arrived at the Long Beach/Rescue Ink Animal Shelter with puppies after a breeder realized how much work and how expensive it is to breed canines. Mama loves playing with both people and dogs. The shelter also has two out of her nine puppies still with her and looking for loving homes. 

Cookie is a very social nine-monthold cat who came in with her siblings, who are also at the shelter. She loves to hang in her cat tree and look out the window.
