Putting a Face On It

Long Beach Patch seeks out, finds and features some of the more interesting homes throughout the city.

The Long Beach barrier island is dotted with homes that vary widely in architectural style. So we at Long Beach Patch thought to highlight this distinct feature of the city as a periodic part of our Lens on Long Beach photo column.

The photos here were selected during our travels throughout the town because, for one reason or another, they capture our fancy. In today's column, among the homes we highlight are those with unusual or rich colors, a zigzagged roof, slanted windows and an all-slate exterior.

Are there any homes that you think we should showcase in this photo column? Email us at josephk@patch.com.
