Fusion Health And Fitness Opens Today for Business in Long Beach

Hurricane Sandy caused many of the Long Beach residents, including me, undue stress, but nearly seven weeks later, we can have some relief by working out in a new, clean gym.  Fusion Health & Fitness just opened its doors today to enable the community to work off the stress.

Jason Kerr, owner of Fusion, has been an active Master Trainer, Healthy Lifestyle Consultant and Life Coach in Long Beach for over seven years. “Long Beach is resilient.  The people here are strong and our community will be better than ever!” says Kerr.  Kerr believes the opening of his business will inspire other businesses to reopen. “I know that this community will flourish again, so it is important that businesses will stay here, with their loyal customers,” added Kerr.

Understanding that health and fitness is essential to creating wellness in life, Kerr and his team worked diligently to open.  It’s currently offering a special membership rate of $30 for the month of January with a waived initiation fee and no contract or commitment required.  In order to accommodate the needs of every member, Fusion is limiting its membership to a maximum of 500 people.

Fusion Health and Fitness, located at 16 East Park Avenue in Long Beach, is a full service fitness center with updated locker rooms, lounge area, juice bar, fitness studio, cardio and complete free weight and machine area. Open 7 days- Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday andSunday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fusion Offers many specialty small group classes that include Boxing/Kickboxing, Kettle Bells, TRX Suspension Training, Boot camp, Fusion Fit, and Power Yoga.  Fusion provides various weight loss programs specifically designed for its members, plus special exercise and wellness programs for children, seniors, and individuals with special needs.

Another wonderfully written article appearing on the Patch. This company needs a PR firm instead of this mind numbing drivel being posted on their behalf. "special membership rate of $30 per in January " $30 per what, per visit? per pound loss? per word in this article? On second thought, this is great offer, let me hop in the car and run right over there. Oh wait the address is not mentioned in the article, another stellar job. Was this a paid advertising entry? They would have been better putting up lawn signs throughout town.

Bah Humbug Paul....such a cranky pants! :) Best of luck to anyone who ventures into a new business!

Noel, Can you reread and try to comprehend my post? I was not knocking this new venture. I was critiquing the content of the article. The author had a glaring error regarding the price structure and failed to include even the most rudimentary contact information. If the author was compensated for this article, then the owner of the store should perhaps considering hiring a professional for their PR work or as I said perhaps they should simply place lawn signs around town rather than have this mess posted on here

This is an amazing opportunity for the Long Beach community! I am excited to try out Fusion Fitness and see what they have to offer. I don't understand why you would want to comment negatively on this article, Paul. Are you The Patch.com Grammar Police? Next time you would like to leave a negative comment, maybe you should take a step back and evaluate your own writing skills rather than critiquing everyone else's.

While we are on the subject of fitness what is going on with NY sports in LB?

Veronica, Perhaps you can go back and reread my post and point out to me where I criticized the grammar? Oh wait , you will not be able to do that since I commented on the content or lack thereof of the article.
