Photos: Long Beach Marches in Memory of King

Long Beach held their annual Martin Luther King Day march on Monday morning. Marchers held signs bearing the likeness of the civil rights leader, as well as signs that read "Free at last" and other famous words that King spoke. Chandler McMillan, the valedictorian of Long Beach High School’s class of 2014, was the grand marshal of the parade that started at Laurelton Boulevard on West Park Avenue and ended at the MLK Center on Riverside Boulevard. The march was followed by a holiday celebration at the center, where  keynote speaker is Loretta Lynch, U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, was scheduled to speak.
