Head down to the Magnolia Senior Center on Aug. 16 for a This event, hosted by the Tzipora Long Beach Chapter of Hadassah, begins at 7 p.m. A $20 donation is requested, which will be used to fund Hadassah's medical research projects.
Jazz & Sushi Galore
Listen to great tunes of some of your favorite jazz musicians while you chow down on all-you-can-eat sushi at Allegria Hotel's L'onda Lounge on Aug. 16. L'onda will also feature some specialty cocktails and a "nibbles menu" during the event. It all gets started at 8 p.m.
Fun for the Whole Family
Bring everyone to National Beach Aug. 17 for a night of short films and hula dancers. While the event is slated to start at 7 p.m., the main happening, a screening of the film Soul Surfer, will begin playing at 8:30 on a 24 foot screen.
The Beach House
Make sure you visit The Beach House before the first signs of fall appear. The menu features favorites such as wings, wraps, flatbreads, tidbits and lobster rolls; a raw bar menu is available as well. Don't miss tunes played by DJ Timmy Tunes during the night.
