Six Months After Sandy, Where Are You?

Voice your thoughts a half-year after the storm rocked the beach town.


Monday marks six months since Hurricane Sandy struck Long Beach, on Oct. 29, destroying in her wake hundreds of homes and business and vehicles, not to mention an estimated $250 million in damages to the city. Patch wants to know where you, the residents and business owners, are at in your rebuilding efforts a half-year later. We’d really like to hear your thoughts on how the various levels of government, from Long Beach City Hall to Albany to Washington D.C., have performed in helping to revive the beach town, especially when compared to the efforts of the private sector and volunteers that have lent a helping hand and given many dollars to these efforts.
