Community Update

My first visit to Lola's was last night. Truly a horrible experience.

Our party of four was served, but my meal was forgotten by the waitress. After fifteen minutes she brought me the wrong entree. Brought out swordfish which I didn't order and was old and fishy , so I shared someone's burger. The bacon on it was cold -- precooked. Dangerous.

Forgot my dessert also, and my coffee.

The manager did nothing to make it right. Oh ye, they didn't charge me for the food I didn't get.

The glass kitchen showed a band of cooks preparing food without gloves, one of whom had shoulder length hair, with no hair net -- serious health violations.

Noisy, loud, kind of fun but more like a 50-year-old's Chauncy's.

We got home and were both violently sick.

Calling the Nassau County Health Department Monday. This place is bad news -- at least it was Saturday night.
