getting screwed by flood insurance

okay like most of us good tax, insurance paying people, I to have been getting screwed by my insurance company, the run around is unbelievable and the tactics to back you off, what did I do, hell I am mad as hell and took it no more, I was blown off by not only my insurance company( travelers) and was told I have to go thru the adjuster company(Jackson) I was told for the past 6 weeks the final report(this is needed for the insurance company to pay you) would be done any day, weeks and weeks went by as call after call and same old crap, after calls to the owner to Jackson with a promise  that the adjuster would call me in 24 hours,still no call so what next was a call from FEMA, yesterday they told me the time line was way to long and informed and gave me the number of the insurance commissioner, I emailed a letter to Travels CCing Jackson informing them I am calling the commissioner to report the lack of help.
Well within one hour I got a call from the adjuster and at first he gave me some crap until I told him I do not care how busy he is, how many people are in the same boat and let him know I am reporting him, the company he works for and travelers, low and behold he finally told me the final report will be done next week and another payment will be made to us today.
The way to deal with the insurance is let them know you the insured MUST speak up, let them know your mad as hell and will not take it any more, it works.will let you all know if I do get my checks soon.
