BEST SCHOOL DISTRICTS

Unscinetific survey/gut check.  All you need to do is to be honest with yourself. How many families move TO Long Beach to have access to the schools?  Many are upset that enrollment is down and cuts need to be made.  Some worry that their home values will decrease if a school is "repurposed."  (is it becoming a welfare hotel?) The value of your home has little to do with the schools in OUR town.  We all moved here for the "lifestyle" (surfing anyone?)  When families are motivated by a really solid public education, they are not looking to live in Long Beach.  You wanted to walk to the beach.  You wanted to be less than an hour to Manhattan.  You wanted it all but you were NOT saying "wow, what great schools"  Were you?
