Cops Searching for Missing Man Last Seen in East…
The man of many names was right, property values will rise. King Cuomo II wants to buy your house http://www.businessweek.com/news/2013-02-04/cuomo-said-to-seek-400-million-to-buy-new-york-beachfront-homes. Where does the line form?

Cuomo's proposal is not going anywhere. So forget it. he has places like Staten Island in mind, anyway. As for Long Beach, more Federal and State cash is going to pour into Long Beach in the next 24 months than in the last 20 years combined. tens of millions of dollars in private construction money too. Believe me, if you do not want to live on a world class beautiful ocean baech 20 miles from mid-town Manhattan, someone else will,

What good is a beautiful beach 20 miles from Manhattan when the Long Beach Democrats are making Long Beach their private fiefdom and tax hell for its citizens?? Who wants to rebuild in a tax hell place with 42% increases planned over then next 12-18 months??

"Reggie" - please pick a name and stick with it. Your blind optimism and reminding us of the distance between our door and Manhattan give you away every time. Those of us who have been here long enough know that LB was 20 miles from NY during the hell years too. Just as it was 20 miles away last year when we had our credit rating downgraded. The simple truth is the beach has always been this towns biggest asset - and it may have just turned into our biggest liability right before our eyes.

Or for those who choose to accept our very generous offer proposed by Gov Cuomo, it may have just turned into the greatest opportunity.

Do the math, How many homes on the South Shore of Long Island can you buy or renovate for 400 million?
