Starbucks, where are they? It does not look like they have done much to get the store opened, or done anything to help the community. I was a several times a week customer. I am very disapointed.

How about patronizing one of the locally owned coffee places instead which gave free coffee, coats and emergency supplies to your neighbors?

Eddie, please elaborate. Please tell us the names of these businesses so that we can patronize them. If for no other reason, they are open, but even more so because they were able to help and did. Thank you sir.

For one, there is a new coffee house several stores from the closed movie theater. They were offering free coffee and had racks of free clothing that they were distributing three days after the storm.

Gentle Brew is the name of the store down from the movie theater. Them helping out here: http://longbeach.patch.com/groups/transportation/p/e28b876a-3868-4ab2-831d-13256aabf2ab Much more worthy of your money than Starbucks, for sure! .
