Fleecing the Long Beach public

Friday night I tried to do a nice thing and go to a fund raiser fro the Republican candidates at Swingbellys for someone I know. Unfortunately I parked in lot # 5 and didn't have a resident pass to park after hours. My mistake, so I thought ok, go down to the police station pay the fine ($75.00) then the tow fee ($200.00) and get my car. NO! It's Friday night and I have to wait till Monday to get my car because the City of Long Beach started a new policy. They hired this company and the city doesn't have anyone to accept my cash until Monday. OK, now here is the kicker, I will now have to pay $25.00 per day till Monday because the tow company will not be open until then. This is a new policy. This was not true I found out. That is just not right! I'll pay the fine and the tow , but the 3 day storage fee is, again JUST NOT RIGHT! 
Sorry to all the businesses in the West End, but you will not see me anymore.
 Ok now listen to this BS. I called the PCT.Sat. morning after the tow company to call and see if I can get a release that he would be in the pound until noon. I spoke to the desk Sgt. and asked him again if I can come down and pay the fine so I can get my truck, he says sure come down pay it and we will give you a release to give to the tow co. Ready? I get there and they tell me to wait until Monday! Talk about the left not knowing what the right hand is doing!!!
