Why doesn’t anybody acknowledge your ethics charge, Jimmy.  You posted your press release in the Patch, writing the headline of “serious” charges against the Democrats on the Long Beach City Council.   You were published in both Newsday and the Herald. 

You titled yourself as former City Council President and Spokesman for the Republican Party.  Your solo crusade of twisting truths and creating spectacular allegations, allowed you to manipulate the two major papers into printing articles that you can cut and paste into the November election campaign attack pieces.

It has been years since Long Beach had a functional government.  With this City Council, Long Beach has the means to attract funding. Long Beach now has the departments that are required by the State and the Feds to get grants and support. 

Let’s return to the roots of Jimmy’s new crusade.  Go back to your last strategy for a Republican win.  The highlights were stunning.

Your Republicans defrauded Moody’s and lied to voters about our bonds.  Your Republican abandoned ship and borrowed money to payoff the top officials.  Your Republicans stayed home from work. 

The newly elected Democrats sought legal help before they even had the keys to City Hall.

You can’t derail a train that is running smoothly and on time.  Your “we are the Republicans they are the Democrats” nonsense is finally over. 

Long Beach is now governed by adults, ethical in their approach and professional in their management.  Their successes are obvious to all of Long Beach and your childish behavior is transparent to a City benefitting from our first excellent government in decades.
