Leaving a kitten in the Waldbaum's parking lot??

Today at the Waldbaums' parking lot, a driver let this kitten out of the car and sped off.  Being pet owners ourselves, we could not let this one fend for itself.  We took it to several shelters - all of which could not take him because they were full.  We were told that this kitten is weened, is about 8 weeks old, male, very people friendly (snuggling with us in the car) and purrs loud! He's striped - light and medium gray. He's not wild - very people friendly. We cannot keep him. Anyone wants a cutie??
