Sewer Inspection Bill

The City's Democrats are proposing legislation that will require every owner to have his sewer - from the house to the street - inspected. 

This will be required, we are told, before any house is sold. 

Few sewer laterals will pass inspection as they have settled or have roots growing in them.  The City won't make the details of the proposed law available. 

So before you sell your house, you'll have to replace the sewer. 

Your new cost?  Perhaps $7,000. 

Meanwhile the Democrats also are giving themselves free lifetime medical benefits for their entire families after working only five years. 

The city's $100 million in debt.  People are out of their homes.  Millions in aid has poured into Long Beach and the taxpayers haven't seen a dime. 

Get ready for your new $7,000 sewer bill.
