Super Block Speak Up

I am finding it hard to believe that this speak out section isn't blowing up over the proposed super block drawings.  I think that if our City Council had the taxpayers/residents of Long Beach interests at heart they would have rejected the proposed towers immediately..  I believe our building code in Long Beach has been maxed out at 7 stories for the past 20 plus years and now someone wants to not only increase it but double it.    This will set a precedent for all future buildings.  I feel that if you want to develop the land you do it within zoning and building codes.  I just hope that our current City Council has a backbone and doesn't sell out to party pressure, favors, or $$$ Like our past City Councils.
