Did you get your tax bill today?
Your "Sanitation Tax" went up $100. If you have a two-family house, it went up $200.
The City bragged about a 1% tax cut. That's $30. We didn't see that on our bills either.
Also coming is another $100 "Sewer Insurance" Tax. But that's next month. It's voluntary. You can pay it or fork over $10,000 when you sell your house. It's a "Get out of Dodge tax".
Last year, they raised your taxes 16%. The year before that, they raised your taxes 16%.
