Friends, my girlfriends bicycle was stolen today (at the LB RR station, ). This was/is a bicycle she bought to replace the one she lost from Hurricane Sandy. (insurance hasn't sent a dime for the old one FYI) it's only a month young bicycle, and she did lock it. Please let the police know if you see a Black with Pink Accents "SPECIALIZED" (Is The Name of The Bicycle) anywhere.

Locks don't deter a thief. You would have to remove one tire in order that they cant ride it if stolen Will keep eyes peeled. Good luck

There should be an armed guard there at LIRR. Anyone steals your stuff during a national emergency you should put some lead between his/her eyes. Enough with these animals targeting good people that have suffered enough.

I'd just like the justice system to ruin the perpetrator's life, but I appreciate the sentiment Mr. Sheinbaum. :)

It's the biggest kick in the nuts if your a cop. How can you respect yourselves, when you cant contain a perimeter 500 feet from YOUR PRECINCT. Any bike stolen from the LB Rail should be refunded by LBPD. What a joke.

Enough is enough!! We need more cops on LB!! @ Mr. Dunes.. I will keep an eye out for the bike that was stolen. It really sickens me that nothing or no one is safe near that LIRR station.

My advice? ANYONE accosts you or steals your stuff during this emergency?.............KILL THEM..................and then walk away. Fuck them.

Go victor! As for the lb rr station.....it needs to be cleaned up! The stairs are mini crack dens / urinals / whore-houses ... I've seen drug baggies, used tampons, empty booze bottles & strung out heroin addicts in those stairwells! I travel home from NYC after a 12 hr workday & I'm confronted with the most disgusting/dangerous part of my day ....incredibly within a mile of my home and within sight of our police station?!
