Crimes Nearby: Man Wanted for Stealing Phone
Theft occurred in local T-Mobile store Feb. 18.
Police seek the public’s help in finding a man wanted in connection with the theft of a cell phone inside a T-Mobile store.
At about 12:55 p.m. on Feb. 18, the pictured subject was seen inside the store at 1338 Peninsula Blvd. in Hewlett, according to Nassau County Police Department. He then allegedly stole a victim’s Samsung Galaxy S3 phone, valued at $600, before fleeing the scene with another black male in the store. Both suspects fled the scene driving a silver Lincoln SUV in an unknown direction.
