Crimes Nearby: Shoplifting, Criminal Mischief, DWI

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Lido Beach

• An unknown suspect punctured two tires on a vehicle parked on Lagoon Drive West in Lido Beach on July 3 or 4.

Island Park

• Kristin Sciarra, 30, of Catskill was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Austin Boulevard in Island Park on July 4.

Oceanside

• Flor Vega, 40 of Oceanside was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Lawson Boulevard in Oceanside on July 4.

• Josefina Londono of Freeport was arrested and charged with shoplifting at Kohl’s on Long Beach Road in Oceanside on July 4.

• Jayla D. Tyson, 23 of Freeport was arrested and charged with shoplifting at Kohl’s in Oceanside on July 7.

• Dorinda Tyson, 59 of Freeport was arrested and charged with shoplifting while at Kohl’s  in Oceanside on July 7.

• Joseph Tuman, 25 of Oceanside was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Rockaway Avenue in Oceanside on July 8.

Five Towns

• Janene Victor, 27 of Far Rockaway was arrested and charged with for driving while intoxicated on Peninsula Boulevard in Woodmere on July 8.

• Marvin Ramirez, 44 of East Elmhurst was arrested and charged with shoplifting while at K-Mart on Rockaway Turnpike in North Woodmere on July 6.
