"Intelligence Led Policing is a cooperative, data driven model that is a natural partner to our current Community Policing model,” Chernanski stated.

The LBPD already utilizes Intelligence Led Policing and the contingent that assisted with the warrant sweep were members of Nassau's Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team under the leadership of NCPD Lt. James Watson, according to the LBPD.

“The LBPD will continue to build upon our law enforcement partnerships, share intelligence and make our community even safer,” Tangney said.
