Long Beach Woman Charged with DWI After Loop Pkwy. Accident

Driver had blood alcohol content of .16.

A Long Beach woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after a two-car accident on the Loop Parkway Thursday.

According to New York State Police, Stephanie O'Connor, 21, failed sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI after a trooper responded to a two-car accident on the eastbound side of the Loop Parkway at 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 23. While the interviewing O’Connor, who drove a red Honda Accord involved in the collision, the troop detected the ordor of alcohol. O'Connor showed a blood alcohol content of .16.

She was charged with DWI and traffic violations, and was held for arraignment in Nassau County First District Court.

Yeah. Making fun of her. Sometimes embarassment is the best punishment.
