Nearby: Island Park Man Charged with Stealing Dock


An Island Park man was charged with grand larceny for taking a floating dock on Monday.

According to police, a witness observed Donald Mann, 60, of Suffolk Road remove a 10’ x 24’ floating dock that was secured to a piling from the rear of 1 Petite Place in Island Park at about 5:30 p.m. on April 28. The suspect took the dock without authority to do so and towed it with his boat on Reynolds Channel.

Mann was charged with grand larceny and will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead.
