Boy handed over cell phone to suspects in Oceanside.

A 16-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night in Oceanside.

According to Nassau County detectives, the teen was walking northbound on Oceanside Road at about 9:30 p.m. when he was approached by two males in a late model, silver-colored Nissan Sentra.

After the suspects exited the vehicle, police said the first suspect displayed a gun and asked the teen what was in his bag. The second suspect displayed a dark handle knife.

The teen handed over his bag that contained a cell phone. Police said the suspects removed the phone and fled in the vehicle, last seen turning southbound on Long Beach Road.

No injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as a white male with a medium build and between 20 to 25 years old.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male,  also with a medium build an between 20-25 years old.
