Police Report: Arrests for DWIs, Possession Forged Instrument

The LBPD-NCPD blotter on Long Beach-related police activity.

The following information was supplied by the Long Beach Police Department/Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • Robert Kruger, 48, of Queens Village was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway, illegal signaling, moving from lane unsafely, and passing through a red light at West Park Avenue and Magnolia Boulevard on July 27.
  • Lisa Chiarizz, 45, of Long Beach was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction and driving with a suspended license at East Park Avenue and Pacific Boulevard on July 29.
  • Beverly Langan, 78, of Freeport was arrested for possession of a forged instrument, driving in the wrong direction on one-way street, and driving without a license, insurance, registration and proper plates at East Park Avenue on July 29.

Larceny

  • Two outdoor chairs were stolen from a residence on Rochester Avenue in East Atlantic Beach sometime between July 29 and Aug. 1.
  • A bicycle was stolen from a driveway on Bellmore Avenue in Point Lookout some time between July 25 and 26.
  • A canoe was stolen from storage at Town of Hempstead Marina in Point Lookout sometime during the months of June and July.
