Another loaded gun. what's going on?
Eddie August 15, 2012 at 12:52 PM
Looks like the LBPD has been busy this month. Those who criticize the Long Beach officers for their work load should realize that Long Beach isn't always a pretty place, and that being a cop in the City by the Sea isn't always the walk in the park...
SurferBilly August 15, 2012 at 12:55 PM
wow.
ken August 15, 2012 at 01:17 PM
Look out for the Hershkowitz gang
Randle McMurphy, jr August 15, 2012 at 01:27 PM
Well, well, well... Could Bruce Rodgers that was arrested on 8/12/12 for having an illegal loaded gun possibly be the same Bruce Rodgers who was arrested last year and then claimed brutality http://longbeach.patch.com/articles/brutality-claims-alleged-after-riot-2??? Degenerate!

What about the 16 year old giving tatoos from his market st. home? When is he going to be arrested?
Reuben Sherred August 15, 2012 at 01:41 PM
i'm planning ANOTHER gun buy back @ CLMBC for early September... definitely needed out here...now they just gotta bring in the guns...#hopefulforpeace
Brendan August 15, 2012 at 01:49 PM
Yup. A real clown who obviously doesn't learn.
TGNY2000 August 15, 2012 at 01:59 PM
keep harassing people for riding bikes on the boardwalk ramp!!! great resource allocation !!!
Randle McMurphy, jr August 15, 2012 at 02:01 PM
Reuben, how does this gun buy back program work?
Happy Daze August 15, 2012 at 02:02 PM
Arrested for what? He does good work! Find something else to complain about....I know you caaaannnnn.
Happy Daze August 15, 2012 at 02:08 PM
Keep ignoring the sign that's right there at the ramp entrance.
Misty August 15, 2012 at 02:08 PM
Happy, I just figured out who you are. He does good work? Have you seen how he's marred the kids in this town? Should we forget about the fact that he's unlicensed and operating a business out of Section 8 housing?
Brendan August 15, 2012 at 02:11 PM
It works like this: People bring busted, old, barely operational or plain broken guns to a central location, they get money for them, and then turn around and buy new, working, more awesome guns.
Happy Daze August 15, 2012 at 02:12 PM
Oh golly. At least he's got a job during these tough economic times. Those kids he's supposedly marred should go out and start their own tattoo shop if they think it's so easy!
Randle McMurphy, jr August 15, 2012 at 02:26 PM
Brendan, that is ludicrous! It is against the law to have a hand gun in New York without a license. So, people who don’t have a license can turn in a gun they have illegally and get money for it? What about every other criminal? Do they get a free pass too?
Brendan August 15, 2012 at 02:33 PM
Yes, they will pay you for breaking the law.
Randle McMurphy, jr August 15, 2012 at 02:54 PM
They will pay a person for breaking the law? I always thought it was the other way around? What a system. What a pathetic, pathetic, pathetic system.
TGNY2000 August 15, 2012 at 07:25 PM
That sign saves lives I guess? It makes the community better despite the above set of criminals?
Happy Daze August 16, 2012 at 05:32 AM
It might. Why don't you stand at the bottom of the ramp while I freewheel it on down the ramp right into you. Want to try it?
TGNY2000 August 16, 2012 at 10:46 AM
Who said anything about "freewheeling" into someone. What are you a biker chick? Don't hurt yourself jagass.
LB Boardwalker August 16, 2012 at 11:18 AM
On Sarurday, August 11, a 20-something year old former mental patient ran amok on Pacific Blvd wiuth not one, but TWO butcher knives. The police were called, but there is apparently no report, he wasn't arrested, and now we all have to wait until he actually hurts someone--or himself--and then everyone will ask why nothing was done to prevent a horrible tragedy.

What would Long Beach be like without the North Park section?
