A female bicyclist was struck by an auto on Lido Boulevard around 8:15 a.m. Thursday morning, according to a public information officer from the Nassau County Police Department.
The victim sustained cuts to her face and was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The incident reportedly occurred in the vicinity of Marvel Dairy Whip.
A pedestrian was critically injured after she was struck crossing Lido Boulevard in the same area in mid-May.
Additionally on Thursday morning, Nassau Police responded to the scene of a three-car accident on Lido Boulevard in front of the Malibu Beach Club. No injuries were reported.
