Democratic challenger Thomas Feffer no match for Republican favorite Dean Skelos.
Incumbent
Dean Skelos, R-Rockville Centre, was re-elected to his 15th term Tuesday after defeating opponent
Thomas Feffer, D-Lynbrook, in the race for

Skelos captured 60.48 percent of the total votes against the
non-incumbent, Feffer.

this very difficult time."
Skelos, the chamber’s majority leader, was first elected to state senate in 1984.
